Shipping & Delivery

Roy's Toys aims to ship all packages within 48 hours of ordering following a confirmed order and a stock availability check, however we often are able to despatch an item on the same day it is ordered as long as the order is received before 4pm and is in stock. Deliveries are not made on weekends. This is not a guarantee of same day despatch but we have a proven track record of despatching over 95% of our orders within 24 hours. However during particularly busy periods this could take longer so we ask for your patience and allow 5 business days before contacting us regarding an unshipped item. We will contact you if we think your order may not ship within 48 hours.

Once an item has been shipped Roy's Toys is no longer responsible for it. As such we send most packages via Royal Mail First Class. On some occassions items may be sent via a courier. Roy's Toys will where applicable inform you of the tracking number of the package so you can keep track of it. Roy's Toys will do all we can to expedite the shipping process and make sure you get your package as soon as possible but once it has been shipped we cannot be held responsible for any delays or losses or damages that are not a result of improper packaging.

Please note the shipping and tax estimation service provided is only provided for your convenience. The price quoted is not a guarantee and we are under no obligation to honour the quoted price. The actual costs may differ from the estimation.

If an item is on backorder it means that we are temporarily out of stock of that item and will ship it to you at the earliest possible moment we receive new stock. If you order an item on backorder we will look up the item with our suppliers. We will email you regarding your item and give you an estimate of how long it should take to restock the item. Unless requested items on backorder will be sent to you straight from the supplier. This will hasten the delivery of your package but will indemnify Roy's Toys from postage responsibilities. If any problems occur we will contact our supplier on your behalf.

Privacy & Security

Roy's Toys is dedicated to providing you with the best customer experience. We value your privacy and security and do not share your information with anyone else.

Although it is not compulsory to register an account with us, doing so allows you the following benefits:

  • Track your order and review past purchases.
  • Build a personal wish list.
  • Shop online with access to a history of your purchases made in the shop.
  • Manage your address book and email settings.

We use this information only as necessary. Your data will never be supplied to external third-parties.

We take security very seriously at Roy's Toys. Sensitive data entered into our website is done so over a secure connection encrypted via an industry standard RapidSSL certificate.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements

If for whatever reason you wish to return a product to us, we will be more than happy to take it back as long as it is in a saleable condition and is within the 7 day returns window in accordance to the UK Distance Selling Regulations. Please contact me via email first if you wish to return something and I can offer advice on an individual basis but laid out below is our general policy for returns, refunds and replacements.

Roy's Toys will only accept a return if the item is still in a saleable condition. This means it must be unopened and in its original packaging. If a console or video game is found to be faulty, please do not contact us but rather contact Nintendo's help line on 0870 6060247.

Roy's Toys cannot accept responsibility for any items that go missing or are damaged in the post. To this end we recommend you send packages via recorded delivery. Roy's Toys cannot offer a refund on postage costs unless the error is on our end such as sending an incorrect item.

You must include the original invoice slip when returning an item for us to be able to issue a refund/replacement.

Pricing

All our prices are stated in £ Pounds Sterling (GBP). Whilst we will do all we can to ensure that our online catalogue of products is accurate, we cannot guarantee the price or ability to supply you with a given item. The prices stated on our online store are guide prices and do not represent an offer to sell. Our contract to deliver goods to you is only created when we have formally accepted your order and dispatched your goods.

Should a pricing error occur, or the price of a product from one of our suppliers changes unexpectedly we will contact you to see if you still wish to order the item at the new price. If you wish, you may change your order at this point and the amount charged to your card will reflect the change to your order.

Payment

Roy's Toys offers you the choice of 2 secure well-known Internet payment gateways to choose from when paying for an item. Below is a summary of each of the two options, with links for more information.

PayPal
PayPal is a well-known Internet payment gateway that is used across the web on many well-known sites such as eBay. It allows you to either register for an account and use funds in your PayPal account or pay for items directly using your credit/debit card.

Bank Transfer
We also provide the option of using a bank transfer. This can take a few days for the banks to process and requires you leave your order # as reference.

Roy's Toys does not accept any method of payment not listed above. We never see your credit card information.
